EURO 2012: meeting with UEFA
Spain qualified for the final match of the U19 European Football Championships. In the first semi-final match held in Wronki it defeated Austria 5:0 (2:0). The final rival of Spaniards will be Scots, who won in a match played in Grodzisk Wielkopolski against Czechs 1:0 (0:0). The final match will be held on 29th July in Poznań.
Spaniards, the main favorites of the championships, do not disappoint. The result 5:0 speaks for itself, and had the players from the Iberian Peninsula been more focused, they could have scored many more goals.
The qualification of Scotland for the finals is a small surprise. On the other hand, the islanders proved in the qualifications to be better than very powerful France, and in the tournament they left behind Turkey and Portugal. Therefore their participation in the game for the top trophy is not accidental.
