Italy: UEFA delegation will make its second visit on May

The UEFA delegation will make its second visit to Italy for the 2012 European Football Championship bid. After the workshop held last April on the 27th and 28th, UEFA is still monitoring the progress of the bid proposal in respect of the upcoming deadlines.

Next Monday's meeting, which will take place from 14:30 onwards in the Hall of Honour of the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI), will focus on the themes of accommodation and hospitality.

In particular, UEFA will explain the requirements regarding accommodation to the Italian Football Association (FIGC) Bid Committee and to the managers of selected hotel facilities in the cities proposed to host the championship games. Attending the workshop will be the head of UEFA events, Jürgen Müller, FIGC Secretary and Euro 2012 Bid Proposal Manager, Francesco Ghirelli, the Director General of the Italian National Tourism Board (ENIT), Eugenio Magnani, and the Head of Accommodation for the FIGC Bid Committee, Licia Pellegrino.
