Telekomunikacja Polska launches the campaign of collecting signatures in support for hosting the finals of the European Football Championships EURO 2012 by Poland and Ukraine. On 25th-27th August, the first campaign of collecting signatures is to be launched in Gdańsk. The collected signatures will be transmitted to UEFA as the proof of support from Poles to EURO 2012. At the same time, on 26th August the semi-final match of the XI edition of the national Marek Wielgus TP football Cup for children – Poland’s biggest football tournament for children - will be held at the Gdańsk Polonia stadium.

All candidate cities to host matches of the final tournament of the European Football Championships EURO 2012 supplemented the missing documents. Six cities remain
Today at 1 p.m. we learnt the names of the cities that will have a chance to host European football championships in 2012. Six Polish cities will remain in the joint Poland–Ukraine bid. The cities will be presented in the defined sequence – in accordance with the scores awarded by the Executive Committee.

The deadline for selection of host cities has been postponed until Thursday, 20th April. Polish Staff of EURO 2012 Project made a decision to postpone the date for selection of cities for the bid to host EURO 2012.
