Review of Polish press

On Monday a debate was held in Kiev devoted to investment potential related to hosting by Poland and Ukraine of EURO 2012. The participants talked mainly about the necessity to introduce changes in the Ukrainian legislation, which will allow for involvement of foreign capital in the preparations for the championships.

The final match of EURO 2012 will be held at the Olympic Stadium in the center of Kiev – argues Volodymyr Rybak, the deputy prime minister of Ukraine. This stadium is Ukraine’s largest and can accommodate over 70 thousand spectators. (Rzeczpospolita)

In September the decision will be made on the selection of the designer of hotels, the congress center, apartment blocks and shops to be erected next to the National Stadium. According to plans the new stadium shall be ready by year 2012, and the construction must commence this year. (Puls Biznesu)

Farewell to the Dziesięciolecia Stadium will be held tomorrow in Warsaw. Under the slogan of „The fair of tales” the organizers have planned concerts, games for children, and the residents of Warsaw will have an opportunity to share their memories related to the stadium.
