The Ministry of Housing developed a draft amendment to the act on spatial management. Amongst other things it envisages shortening of the procedures for adoption of plans and limits the possibility for protests being brought against the plans. (Gazeta Prawna)

Yesterday in Poznań voivodes and representatives of the Ministry of Economy discussed what should be done to prevent complex regulations form hampering the hosting of EURO 2012. It turned out that for representatives of local governments the most important issue is the amendment to the act on public-private partnership, which is supposed to facilitate implementation of the planned investments. - European Championships are a great promotion for Poland, but it is hard to image them without Krakow - said Tomasz Lipiec, the minister of sport, at yesterday’s conference at the Voivodeship Office. He assured that there are big chances for matches to be played also in Krakow. Zbigniew Wassermann, the minister-coordinator for special services, also declared support from the government.
