EURO 2012: meeting with UEFA
The adopted operational program Innovative Economy (PO IG) is to provide co-financing for the construction of stadium for EURO 2012. EU assistance funds, which Polish companies and institutions can expend on development of modern technologies, amount to over EUR 9.7 billion. (Gazeta Wyborcza)

Construction of the National Sport Center (NCS) can be delayed by 6-12 months. The delay in works results from the change of the investor. NCS is to be constructed by Totalizator Sportowy, and not by the Central Sport Authority as was originally assumed. (Puls Biznesu, Życie Warszawy)

400 hotels at petrol stations will be constructed by ComfortExpres, a Polish partnership of private investors. This is going to be the first investment of that kind in Poland. It is particularly important in the context of hosting of EURO 2012. An analysis of the hotel market suggests that Poland is short of 21 thousand hotel accommodation places to service all guests of EURO 2012. (Gazeta Prawna)
