Construction of a new PZPN (Polish Football Association) seat is likely to commence next year. The association’s authorities would like it to be a small football centre but the future location of this investment is not known yet.
- It’s high time to have a new seat – said Michał Listkiewicz, the PZPN President – particularly now as we won the right to host EURO 2012 and we will be frequently visited by guests from UEFA. We want our new official seat to be a kind of a football centre, with a small hotel and two or three small stadiums around, as befits a respectful association. Financing of this undertaking will be largely covered by FIFA and UEFA.
