Rzeczpospolita: The Organizational Committee to be headed by the Prime Minister

The Prime Minister of Poland, Jarosław Kaczyński, is to head Polish organizational committee for EURO 2012. It is most likely to be composed of 10 ministers. It was certainly not include deputy Prime ministers Roman Giertych and Andrzej Lepper – this information was obtained by "Rzeczpospolita" daily.

The prime minister will have two deputies: the Minister of Sport Tomasz Lipiec and Przemysław Gosiewski of the Prime Minister’s Chancellery.

The committee will certainly include Zyta Gilowska, the Minister of Finance, Jerzy Polaczek, the Minister of Infrastructure, Janusz Kaczmarek, the Minister of the Interior, and Grażyna Gęsicka, who is responsible for EU assistance funds.

On Thursday the first meeting of the Polish committee will be held in Warsaw. Presidents of those Polish cities that are to host EURO 2012 matches will also attend the meeting.
