Małysz supports EURO 2012
As soon as in two days the decision on the selection of the host of EURO 2012 will be made. Adam Małysz, Poland’s best ski jumper, warmly supports the Poland-Ukraine bid.
- Hosting of the European Football Championships in 2012 by our Ukrainian neighbours and us will give us only benefits. First of all outstanding sport facilities, which our country lacks, will be constructed. But that’s not all. Beside new football pitches we will construct modern infrastructure needed to support such an event. I mean access roads to the cities where matches will be held and hotels for fans, motorways, railways stations, and airports – Małysz said.
He added that all fans know he is a great football fan.
- I play football very often and that’s why I wish Poland wins the right to host the championships with all my heart – Małysz concluded.
