EURO 2012: meeting with UEFA
Broadcast of the selection of EURO 2012 host
On 18th April, TVP 3, TVP Sport and Eurosport will present to Polish viewers a full coverage of the gala of the selection of the EURO 2012 host. The broadcast will be complemented by opinions and commentaries of experts, footballers, fans and politicians.
The broadcast on TVP3 and TVP Sport will start at 11.00 a.m. and will last until about 12.30. Direct coverage from Cardiff will be presented to viewers by Maciej Iwański. The ceremony will be commented on by Piotr Sobczyński, and the studio host will be Dariusz Szpakowski. Numerous guests: experts, footballers and politicians will share their first opinions on the results of UEFA voting.
Polish TVP studio will also make connections with the EURO 2012 Project Staffs in Kiev, Wrocław, Poznań and Warsaw. Polish viewers will see the reaction of persons implementing and supporting Poland-Ukraine bid.
Eurosport will also provide direct coverage from Cardiff. The broadcast on this channel will start at 11:30 a.m..
Apart from Poland and Ukraine other bidders for hosting of EURO 2012 are: Italy and Croatia-Hungary.
