The Organizing Committee (OC)
Organizing Committees for the European Football Championships EURO 2012 were established in Poland and Ukraine in April 2007.
Protection of UEFA rights
In their bid Poland and Ukraine committed themselves to support UEFA in enforcement of its industrial property rights covering the rights to the logo of Poland and Ukraine bid and logo of the future Championships, as well as in combating the so-called ambush marketing, i.e. practices consisting in marketing of goods and services based on associations with the European Championships.
Voluntaries
The case of EURO 2008 shows that application for volunteer positions will be possible as of mid-year 2007 – in a year before beginning of the European Championships. At the same time detailed information on voluntary work was published by UEFA earlier - in spring 2007.
*Any rights granted to a third party in respect of the Bid Logo shall automatically terminate upon the termination of Bidder's involvement in the Selection Procedure (Art. 7.1. paragraph d) of the UEFA Bid Regulations) i.e. after 18th June 2007.
